A 60 year old hypertensive patient on Angiotensin II receptor antagonists (losartan) is posted for hernia repair surgery. The anti-hypertensive drug should be
1. Continued till the day of operation.
2. Discontinued 24 hrs. preoperatively.
3. Discontinued one week preoperatively.
4. Administered in an increased dosage on the day of operation.
