A patient undergoing surgery suddenly develops hypotension. The monitor shows that the end tidal carbon dioxide has decreased abruptly by 15mmHg. What is the probable diagnosis?


1. Hypothermia.


2. Pulmonary embolism


3. Massive fluid deficit


4. Myocardial depression due to anesthetic agents.
